PROFILE Alexandre G. Mitchell, D.Phil (Oxon)
Alex was educated for his BA in France in Classics, History and Archaeology and graduated
for his doctorate from the University of Oxford in Greek Archaeology. He tutored for a few
years in Classics at Oxford and lectured on Greek and Roman Art & Archaeology at the
University of Reading. Well travelled in Europe, the Middle-East and South-East Asia, he
joined Equinox Travel and works with Nick on a number of projects.
With the help of Nick's 20 years of professional travel experience, Alex has put
together a series of specialised tours, entitled Sacred Landscapes. This series of
4 tours, is the first commercial adaptation of the latest and most exciting archaeological
theory: Landscape Archaeology.
Alex is also the in-house graphic and web designer.
