Milam is probably the largest glacier of the region and lies in the
eastern region of the Kumaon Himalaya at an altitude of about 4267
metres. One of the largest villages in the Kumaon called Milam is
situated a few kilometres before the glacier. Traditional folklore and
handicrafts thrive in the entire region.
