250 acres of eye-catching greenery, is an old family house belonging to
the Thampi royal family.
This old prestigious
family seat has now been converted into a reputed Ayurvedic Resort by
the present owners. This resort has an authentic and indescribably
divine aura about it, with its palatial rooms and other facilities,
illustrating its proud past and glory. Guests are treated like royalty
and are welcomed as they would be to an ancient royal household. Here,
unlike other resorts and hotels, guests enjoy their freedom as they
would in their own home. They are treated as if they are members of the
family, which they are indeed. Chamundi Hill Palace is a place of hills
and dales, of stupendous views and picturesque scenery. Often in the
mist-shrouded hills, the clouds lower their billows to cover the palace
; then slowly lift away... as you watch this untiringly for hours. This
is a place for rejuvenation - for breathing in fresh unsullied air, for
walking aimlessly, for rest and calm, for recouping the lost and
frittered energies of the body and mind.
